Suggestion “partial reset”
The time it takes to do a lot of things in this game is insane. There could be mountains and hours upon hours of work. Gear fear is real. Reset will probably turn off a lot of players to this game. Three months feels too early. Mostly because console players have a different timeline than PC players. Console players are often a little more casual and play when they have time off work. I work full-time in three months can go by quick. My suggestion is that gold items don’t reset. However, instead of giving all players with gold items who had time to grind for them ahead start after reset. Let’s make the gold carry over items not available for use until your level 25 again. So new players starting in the season won’t be bombarded with gold teams. New players have a chance to get their own kits in order before the gold rush. That way the previous season doesn’t feel like an entire waste of time. We don’t need to be Tarkoving it in here. If all gold items being available is too powerful then it could just be gold guns so people have something they could feel is special to them. I played DMZ for over 2,500 on modern warfare two. I still have guns in my inventory that are very special to me that were from special events. I’ll never take those in. One of them was dropped by YouTuber to me. The other was from a YouTube video I posted when I wiped the lobby. Allowing players to keep some gold guns could be incentive for players who took six months off of marathon and wanted to come back to something nice instead of a fresh start.
