Grenade thrown while airborne (Vandal launch) goes through gap above wall on client, ends up on my side of the wall

Description of Issue:
I was launched into the air by an enemy Vandal's ability. While airborne, I threw a frag grenade forward over a wall that has an opening above it, toward two enemies on the other side.

On my POV, the throw was clean: the grenade left my hand mid-air, went through the gap above the wall, and the impact indicator appeared in the distance on the enemies.

Roughly 500ms later, the indicator snapped back to my side of the wall and the grenade detonated there and killed me instead of the two enemies 😵‍💫

My hypothesis (just guessing from what I saw): the server seems to compute the grenade's trajectory from my ground position rather than from my actual mid-air position from the Vandal's launch. From the ground, the wall blocks the throw; from where I actually was (in the air), the grenade clears the gap. That would explain the mismatch between the client-side indicator and the final server-side position.

Repro steps:
1. Get launched into the air by an enemy Vandal's ability.
2. While airborne, throw a frag grenade forward over a wall/partition with an opening above it.
3. Observe the grenade flying correctly on your screen, indicator appearing past the wall.
4. ~500ms later, the indicator snaps back to your side of the wall and detonates there.
