problem with graphics settings

  • Description of Issue - Every time I launch the game, the graphics settings are set to maximum, even though I've lowered them. 
  • Rough Date and Time of issue - since the game's launch.

    Hi there,

    Thanks for reaching out, and we're sorry to hear you’re having issues with the graphics settings.

    Please try a few steps to see if we can get your graphics settings to stick:

    1. Launch the game, go to Settings, Video/Graphics, lower your settings, then make sure to confirm/apply the changes.
    2. After applying, exit the game using the in-game menu (not Alt+F4 or closing the window) and then relaunch to see if the changes were saved.
    3. In Steam, right-click the game in your Library ,Properties, Installed Files, Verify integrity of game files, let that complete, then adjust your graphics again and test once more.

    If the issue persists, please provide us a short video clip of your settings getting reset when you launch the game. YouTube, Imgur, and Twitter work best.
