Push-to-Talk (Toggle) not working correctly on controller (PC)

I’m experiencing an issue with voice chat on PC when using a controller.

When using Push-to-Talk as the input mode with Toggle behavior, the functionality does not work as expected:

  • Main Menu:
    Voice chat behaves like an open mic, even though Push-to-Talk is enabled.
  • During Runs:
    • My mic starts muted correctly.
    • Pressing the Push-to-Talk button (Right on D-Pad) unmutes, but then it behaves like open mic instead of toggle.
    • Pressing the button again does not mute the mic as expected.
    • The only way to re-mute is to:
      • Change Push-to-Talk behavior to Hold, or
      • Manually mute the mic in settings.
  • Mouse & Keyboard:
    Push-to-Talk (Toggle) works correctly with no issues.

Current Settings:

  • Crew Chat Voice Input Mode: Push-to-Talk
  • Push-to-Talk Behavior: Toggle
  • Controller Bind: Right on D-Pad (default)
