I tried to launch a ranked with a friend, game closed during (too long >15 min imo) queue and i lost all my inventory

Hi, 

I'll try not to be salty because a bug is a bug after all. 

My friend and myself tried to launch a ranked just after today's update. We were stuck in queue for what felt like more that 15 min. Then both our games crashed and when we came back on the game it tried to reconnect to the game (looping into the void). I then made the choice to reconnect to the lobby and loose my (9k?) loadout. I'm kinda pissed of from loosing the great loot painfuly acquired over time for a bug i ain't responsible for; Is there any way for me and my friend to recover our stuff? 

Note that this is seriously the type of shit that can make me quit the game unironicaly: what's the point of sweating to acquire loot if it's for loosing it that way? (second time it occurs on my side btw)

    Thank you for reaching out and reporting this issue.

    We’re not able to restore items or progress lost due to disconnects, lag, or other connection issues. In cases where a qualifying server‑side error happens, any refunds that can be offered are handled automatically by the game systems, not manually through support.

    In the event that an error occurs with Bungie’s server or network infrastructure, connection recovery may not be possible. We will attempt to ensure that any players affected by a server error will have their starting gear returned to them. 

    Note: Gear refund only applies to a subset of server error conditions, and will not cover gameplay losses due to Internet connectivity or client-side problems.
