Outpost Stuck next to destroyed wing

I was walking around outpost after leaving pinwheel as a rook, ready to extract. However, there were these like, white sheet looking things that I fell in between while walking backwards that caused me enter the “falling forever” state.
Basically: Jump on top of the white thingies -> walk backwards towards the corner -> fall in hole -> unable to leave hole -> death
