Borrowed Longshot Sniper Did Not Return After Match
Hello,
here is some additional information regarding the borrowed weapon that did not return.
This was not just about a mod, but the entire weapon. The weapon was the Longshot Sniper, and it had a Prestige Mod attached. My friend had already used this borrowed weapon across 8 matches, and I received it back correctly every time. Only on the 9th match, the weapon did not return.
The match was played in Ranked, and I believe the map was Perimeter.
All players involved were on PlayStation.
The match ended at around 11:30 PM German time (CEST / UTC+2).
Because the borrowed weapon returned normally in the previous 8 matches, this does not seem like an intended limit. It feels more like a delayed return or a bug with the borrowed item system.

Once we have the above info, we will review this incident further.
I do not have a recording of the match myself. However, my teammate did record it and confirmed to me that he still had the weapon with him until the very end of the match.
So based on that, the borrowed weapon was still in his possession at the end and should have been returned normally.
I am not completely sure, but I think I may also have had another disconnect during that match. Unfortunately, connection issues have been happening to me quite often in Marathon, so it is possible that this may have affected the weapon return as well.
