Items looted from other teams then dropped by teammates are "Borrowed"
My teammate and I both looted a sniper off the team we killed, he dropped the sniper to me to trade for the one I got. The one he dropped to me was "Borrowed". I exfiled with it. It was returned. It was returned back to my teammate. But my teammate did not bring it in originally.

Repro steps
Loot an equipment item from a team. Drop the equipment item to your teammate. Teammate exfils with it.
