Temporal Cube
Im not sure if im doing something wrong, but this is my 3rd or 4th exfil as rook with a temporal fragment and getting no salvage, ive extracted with it once as a thief before i knew what it was and even then ive never gotten this supposed gold salvage.

How Temporal Fragments pays out
When you exfil with a stabilized Temporal Fragment/“cube”, it does not drop a single obvious “gold salvage” token on the end-of-run screen.
Instead, the cube is transmuted into salvage behind the scenes, and the fragment itself “auto-sells.” Earlier triage explicitly notes that the intended reward is the salvage it turns into, not a separate visible payout line for the fragment itself.
Since patch 1.0.5, that reward is variable salvage based on your Season Level, not a fixed item, which makes it even harder to notice if you’re not watching exact salvage counts before and after the run.
When you extract a Temporal Fragment it transmutes into random salvage in addition to credits. The game doesn't have any UI elements that show what transmuted items do on exfil as of now. The only way to know what salvage you got is to check your vault, but you are getting some either way. Salvage quality scales with season level, and you can start seeing Prestige Salvage at level 55+, with it being more common the higher your level gets.
