Step 1 of contract "Co-Evolution [3/5]" may not marked complete.

  • Bungie Account Name - Cmdr. Shepard#2465
  • Platform - Steam
  • Description of Issue - Step 1 of contract "Co-Evolution 3/5" didn't register as complete, making the rest of the contract impossible to complete. It occurred only once yet. I discovered the issue after I completed step 2 due to mission info view was minimized, so no recording of completing of step 1 is present. I'll describe the events I encounter during completing step 1 below.
  • Rough Date and Time of issue - April of 2nd. After Patch 1.0.5.2.
  • Reproduction steps

Below may or may not give the exact same result. They are merely reproduction of my work.

  1. Load into Outpost with "Co-Evolution [3/5]" activated as Vandal, solo game.
  2. Minimize the contract information screen visible on the top right of the screen.
  3. Go to the room required for the first step of the mission.
  4. Have a UESC grenadier fire grenades into or near the room you're in. Alert UESC so they search for you.
  5. Open the required drawer.
  6. Go into the vent that has a opening in the room.
  7. Wait a little bit due to UESC presence near.
  8. Take the item in the drawer. (Problem may present itself at this step, but as I didn't notice it, I'll keep describing what I did)
  9. [Optional] Go to Orientation, synthesize Symbiont 0.3, inject it to yourself.
  10. [Optional] Reopen the contract information screen, that was minimized at step 2.
  11. [Optional] Observe the contract information screen.
  12. [Optional] Kill enough UESC as requested then exfil. (I didn't do this part, doing so may complete the mission even so it seems incomplete)
