So I've had to send back my gaming laptop for now, but when I try to play Marathon on my gaming PC with the same connection and network config, no matter what I do, I get error W:8:80090305, i've tried everything, resetting Windows configs, clearing cache, flushing DNS, disabling AV and so on, even unisntalling BattleEYE reinstalling, clearing appdata cache. NOTHING WORKS

I'm sorry to hear you keep getting W:8:80090305 errors when trying to log in to Marathon. I see you mentioned being on a laptop; please note that Marathon is not officially supported on laptops and may not run smoothly.
That said, another thing you may want to try for this specific error is to whitelist the game and BattlEye, if you haven't already.
Gotta update this because I am sorry, but that support answer is stupid. Once I said it worked on my laptop, which I've already had to send back. I am playing this on PC, but saying laptops are not officially reported is the dumbest thing ever, IT IS A WINDOWS LAPTOP, if it is not supported then a PC is not, it's the same damn thing in a portable form, if it was running SteamOS or another linux variant, fine, but really! Laptops are not officially supported!? Two, I actually RESOLVED THIS ISSUE. There is an issue with how the marathon EXE is signed with Kaspersky, whether it's on the exception list or whatever, even if Kaspersky is not enough; Kaspersky has to be exited.
Again please learn from this sayign a laptop is nto supported is all kinds of stupid
