Grenades/claymores hit through destroyer shield

I played 2 games in outpost, and one game there was a rooks claymore and I used my shield infront of it to block the impack and instead of blocking the explosion, it killed me through it. Another game is that I had my shield on and the player infront of me, threw a frag grenade against my shield and it was supposed to block it but it blew me up through my shield. Please fix this issue.
