Description of Issue – During a run in Dire Marsh, my character died spontaneously after stepping on a roof near the Bio-Research Lab. The game immediately kicked me to the main menu as if I had abandoned the match, preventing any revival or reconnection. Despite my teammates (lepintoresco#6800 and Papi Cleries#6709) successfully extracting with my high-tier loot (Purple Gear/Key), the items were never returned to my inbox.

Rough Date and Time of issue – March 24, 2026, around 23:55 (CET / Europe Server).

Repro steps – 1. Enter Dire Marsh with a Bio Research Lab Key (Note: the key icon was missing from the map at spawn). 2. Head to the Bio-Research structure (NW spawn). 3. Walk onto the roof section near the walkway that connects the main structure to the one closer to "Complex". 4. Character becomes unresponsive/frozen for a second and then dies instantly without taking damage. 5. Game forces an automatic "Exit" from the run, skipping the downed/revivable state.

Unfortunately, I do not have any video evidence of the incident. Being on PlayStation 5, I immediately closed the application to attempt a reconnection. In doing so, the console's "Record Recent Gameplay" buffer was cleared, making it impossible to save a clip of the preceding minutes. It was a very frustrating and high-pressure moment, and my priority was trying to get back into the match.
However, I can provide these specific details regarding the loot:
My teammates confirmed that when they picked up my gear, approximately 12 items (including the Bio Research Lab Key) specifically displayed the UI prompt: "Will be returned to owner upon extraction."
They extracted successfully with all those items, but 48 hours later, my inbox remains empty.
Since I don't have visual media, I kindly ask if it's possible to track the incident via server logs using our IDs provided above (urii#5735, lepintoresco#6800, and Papi Cleries#6709). The match took place around 23:55 CET on March 24.
I really enjoy the game, but losing high-tier progress to a spontaneous death followed by a failure in the "Item Return" system has been a very disheartening experience. I hope the match data can help you identify the cause.

So is it impossible to recover the lost loot? It would be a somewhat frustrating situation not to be able to solve this situation.
Prob not until you provide them video proof, which sucks. I’m kind if in the same boat as well losing Blue and Green sets of gear.
I have had this happen to me, seems to happen every time when in Alegae Ponds after finishing a lock down and looting the container for me.
