Does trophy progress carries to next season

There’s a psn trophy that requires you to earn 100 season levels. Does the progress carries to the next season? Or I have to earn 100 levels in one season?

    Hello there,
    Thank you for reaching out.

No carry-over: you need to hit Season Level 100 within a single season.

Internally the “Seasoned Veteran / Seasonal Grindset” trophy simply checks whether your current Season Level has reached 100 once, then fires the unlock.
There’s no separate counter that adds up levels earned across multiple seasons, so getting (for example) level 60 in Season 1 and level 40 in Season 2 will not complete it.

  • it should carry over thats a bad move, the wording does not make it seem that way

  • First of all, the wording made it confusing. I hope there’s a way for you to change it and make it more doable for the community. I understand the season reset but don’t punish us trophy hunters with time limits…

  • Hi there, I hope you consider changing the requirements in the future. I love the game, and I'm going to keep playing, but the grind to 100 is real, and I have a full-time job and life commitments. So, unless double XP events start to happen regularly, it's going to be really difficult to hit 100 in a single season.

  • For what it's worth (probably not that much!) I do think this one is a step too far. I'd love to get the platinum trophy, but 100 levels in a season is just not feasible. I'm about level 67 and to do that again before the end of the season (due to level scaling) makes me think now I might just pause on the game for a while or get completely burned out.

  • I wish it carried over. I'm up for the grind to 100 but it will kill my desire if I'm back to 0 at Season 2 😓

  • Disappointing. This will keep me from periodically coming back to the game in the future.

  • I understand wanting to reward for players who reach level 100 and to be fair, achievements/trophies aren't all supposed to be easy.

But I actually thinking changing this to work across multiple season benefits both Marathon and the players.

This would not only allow players to not have to grind 150hours within a single season (which might be impossible for some), but would also make them come back to the game on different season and try stuff out, which would be great for the game.

If this was 150hours across the timespan of the game, it would be fine, but 150hours within a single makes it impossible for some people who have limited time to play but still wanna put in the work.

  • Brother that's rooooough. Idk how you're supposed to get this if you're an employed adult. And I don't even have kids! I just passed the 100 hour play time mark and I'm only like level 57.

I play 95%+ my matches in trios, trying to focus down a contract every run, maybe every 2 or 3 runs if I get unlucky. If I get stuck on a priority contract that's tough to pull off in trio, fill then I hop over to solo to get it done. Basically playing where my MAIN goal is to get that season XP for completing contracts.

Doesn't help that often when I try play in Oceania, unless it's peak hour I'm spending most my time sitting in queues for 10 minutes that just time out with errors oregano/quince because the game can't find enough players.

  • Yeah, it is a shame. And honestly I would rather prefer to keep coming back to the game in multiple seasons, rather than burn myself out.

It's just pretty discouraging knowing I am level 49 now and will lose that progress. I really enjoy the game, but I do like the sense of progress and working towards something, taking that away on season 2 will probably make me drop this.
