Player boxes can’t be opened on specific terrain on Perimeter outside of Perimeter
There’s some rugged terrain on Perimeter near the hauler where if a player dies there, you cannot loot their box. I just killed Bungie dev Mercules904 there and could not open his box. This is both a bug report and a humble brag.

We are aware of this issue with loot boxes not being interactable in certain areas on Perimeter and are currently investigating.
Sorry, outside of the Hauler* on Perimeter.
