In-game Sound Issue

Description of Issue - When playing the game as normally, and getting into a firefight, which multiple entities, AI and players, shooting guns at the same time, the sound cuts off with a static noise for a couple seconds, you can't hear anything, no footsteps, SFX, etc. It happens usually until you step out of the conflict. It only happens during that, not when you are roaming around the map, only happens when you are shooting.
It's very distracting because it happens very suddenly. The issue is almost like when a user has an issue with the headset's soundcard, and the static-ish sound comes and goes. I don't think the issue is Client-Sided since it started happening to me day one into the 1.0.5 update.
Rough Date and Time of issue - It started happening right after Marathon Update 1.0.5 from what I can remember, don't remember the specific dates, but when it happens, only that it happens during firefight.
Repro steps - Get into a group fight, shoot nonstop, and the sound issue will usually happen, not 100%. It also happens sometimes when fighting a singular UESC Commander, shooting an auto rifle without ever letting your fingers off left click.
