Hit reg and desync
I wish I could post videos but essentially I am getting bad desync with teleporting bots and random rubber banding but while thats somewhat manageable what isnt is the hitreg issues. Id say my internet is pretty good, I have to my closest data center 14 ping with a gig download and a gig upload speed. On any other game my connection is fine but with Marathon I am getting frequent hitreg issues, its aggravating to see on my client side the round pinging off the enemies shield the visual of the round warping and sparking the grey/green/blue/purple shield decal but no hitmarker therefore the server just ignores it. It happens frequently enough where now I just don't wanna play. Its discouraging to know the game feels like its actively punching me in the groin and things feel so out of my control. From sniper shots, close range smg skirmishes, ive been unlucky enough to have an enemy runner slurp up an entire body shot from the shotgun, luckily the following shot was a connect but still. It's always the first few shots in an engagement as if the server is playing catchup. Once one or two sometimes three shots are fired everything else afterwards works fine but those initial shots can make or break an engagement.
