Game gets stuck in the quit to desktop screen/reconnection screen

Encountered a problem yesterday where when trying to exit the game the the exit to desktop screen would appear but I everytime I clicked the button nothing happened. I just force shut the game down w and turned off my computer thinking it was a one time thing but about 15 minutes ago I was mid game in outpost when I somehow opened the exit to desktop screen and got stuck on it again obviously I couldn’t do anything so I tried shutting the game down again but when I booted it back up and it asked if I wanted to reconnect I couldn’t click either option, i restarted my game and pc while the lobby was still running to try and reconnect but it was the same thing everytime. I was playing on steam at the time too. (Also idk if this is how this works but if I were able to get the gear I loaded in with back id really appreciate it)
