Game Freezes on launch after most recent update

Before updating the game, my game ran fine. After updating my game today, tried to launch it gets to the loading screen, and freezes at the first symbol. I updated my graphics cards, restarted steam and pc, uninstalled/reinstalled the game, and still no luck. I have no Idea what else to attempt to fix this issue. My current specs are Ryzen 7 2700x, Nvidia 2060super, 32gb ram, on an ssd.

    We understand Marathon is freezing when you launch it. We can imagine how this may be a cause of concern. By any chance, do you have antivirus software active? If yes, does whitelisting Marathon and BattlEye and deactivating the antivirus work around this? Please let us know, and we'll review.

    I have Tried

    • Installing new graphics drivers
    • Reinstalling older graphics drivers
    • Verified Files
    • Disabling my anti virus completely.
    • Uninstall/ reinstall BattlEye and Marathon and Steam.
    • Restarted my PC
    • Ran game through -dx11 and -dx12 through steam settings
    • Turned low latency on through graphics drivers
    • Made Marathon a high priority on launch through graphics settings on OS
    • Updated OS
