Server time out - Lost Inventory

After playing a match on perimeter duos, completing a contract and with a full purple backpack filled with loot I was able to successfully extract however we received a message that the last match was not finalized and I could choose to keep waiting or leave to lobby. After continuously selecting keep waiting for approximately 10 to 15 minutes I was forced to select leave to lobby. My entire backpack was empty, and the contract was not complete completed.
