Still crashinggggg
Making another post because even after all the recommended fixes from here and random people from TikTok my game still crashes the second I start a run. I have done a clean wipe of everything. Time to uninstall again - can we request refunds if the game is unplayable??

Hi there,
Thanks for reaching out. We're sorry to hear you're dealing with this frustrating situation.
We can confirm the team has received reports of crashes of this nature and is looking into the situation. We appreciate your patience.
If its a Core Ultra processor, try updating the BIOS to the latest and the Intel Management Engine to the latest. Both can be had from your motherboard manufacturer website. Updating both fixed the crashing issues for me (I have a Core Ultra 7 265KF).
so i did both those things and it made it worse
Worse? You crash more?
I might have found the issue i donwload the IME from intel themselves instead of the mother board manufacturer which is specific but it seem to work but the update corrupted my game so i had to re download and also the intel specifiic managament one kept corrupting my game so i guess just dont download straight from intel
seems to work now but my last match was short so we shall see
Hello again everyone,
The fix I came up with yesterday was:
Updating your BIOS (dont do any tuning apart xmp/expo) and Intel Management Engine.
After that I suggest also:
Go to the location where your game is installed, for me its C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Marathon\battleye
Right click on Uninstall_BattlEye -> Run as Administrator -> uninstall it
Then
Right click on Install_BattlEye -> Run as Administrator -> install it
You can also just delete the insides of this folder and game/steam will redownload it back.
If that doesnt work then I am out of ideas and this probably needs official fix.
Tried to do a rook run to see if it made any difference and I crashed before fully loading in. out of ideas
Did you update the bios with in windows application or with a flash drive and bios downloaded from your motherboard manufacturer website because that makes a huge difference... those windows apps are unable to make incremental updates.
