Game still crashing after update (intel processor)

Game is still crashing 30 to 100 seconds upon entering a raid. It hard crashes to desktop with no error message. Been like this all day for me and only previously crashed on PC due to map issue with no consistent history of crashing - now it is consistent and unplayable.

Nvidia 5080
Intel Ultra 9 285k 

 

Please if you end up fixing it can you make a post to discord/twitter/website so people know or can check when you sort it?

  • Yeah, it's happening to me too (Intel Ultra CPU). Seems like it's effecting a lot of people on their Discord.

  • Try update the Intel Management Engine, as this seems to fix the issue for some people here in the forums.

  • Hello again everyone,

    The fix I came up with yesterday was:
    Updating your BIOS (dont do any tuning apart xmp/expo) and Intel Management Engine. 
    After that I suggest also:
    Go to the location where your game is installed, for me its C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Marathon\battleye
    Right click on Uninstall_BattlEye -> Run as Administrator -> uninstall it
    Then
    Right click on Install_BattlEye -> Run as Administrator -> install it

    You can also just delete the insides of this folder and game/steam will redownload it back.

    If that doesnt work then I am out of ideas and this probably needs official fix.

  • Thanks for all help Tommy - since Bungie can't seem to say a word. This unfortunately also didn't work for me - so yeah I think we are out of options until they decide to do something.
