Error Code Marmot, game not launching

Hello,

I am reaching out in hopes that someone has been able to solve this issue. Game cannot launch through steam and gives me error code 'Marmot'. i have tried verifying game files, all the way to using chkdsk. uninstalled and reinstalled. Refunded and bought again. It is still giving me the same message.
