Marathon servers not available

I’m playing on Steam. The game will not log in. “Marathon Servers are not available”. My mouse still doesn’t work. STILL does not work. Not one of my mouse I have works on your game, even after all the updates and driver updates and uninstalls . Very Frustrating…. 
 Update…. The steam client just didn’t take the update. I had to uninstall reinstall for it to work. Is it going to be like this for all updates?
