Game Crashes to Desktop on or shortly after loading into any map.

I have updated drivers, changed settings, and tried solo mode but nothing seems to help. The game is currently unplayable as it crashes immediately or within minutes of loading into any map.

This is the first time I have played after the update and the first time I have experienced this kind of crash. Previously I experienced occasional crashing when looking at the in game map but never anything this bad.

Windows 11, latest updates as of posting.

  • I have done further reading today on Reddit and it appears this problem specifically affects the intel Ultra chip series. Folks have stated they solved it by flashing the bios. I will try this tomorrow and update.

  • Confirming that a BIOS update resolved the issue.

The PC is a Corsair Pre-Built that is running an OEM BIOS. The original BIOS it shipped with was from October of 2024. There is an updated BIOS on that product page from March 2025. Could be worth an announcement as the Reddit thread I was on was almost certainly all Corsair pre-built owners.

No other MSI BIOS packages will work it must come from Corsair.
