outpost cascade overheat tick damage not counting down
I overheated while in the cascade and the 4 second timer would not countdown resulting in being stuck permanently overheated and taking damage

I simply sprinted until i overheated while in the cascade. when the cascade ended the timer for the overheat (damage timer) stayed at 4 seconds. I unfortunately did not have my clip setup.

I also had this issue. Just lost an Outpost run due to the overheat timer not disappearing. Playing on Steam, user ID TIMMY0233#67761.
I just had the same problem happen. I couldn't even cleanse the overheat with the vandal Amplify. It just remained at full overheat.
I had the same issue on Steam. Overheat debuff stayed at 4 and kept continously ticking damage to me.
