PS5 Pro hours played reset to 0 after latest Marathon update

PLATFORM: PlayStation 5 Pro ISSUE: After the latest update, my Marathon hours played on PS5 reset to 0. Yesterday the game showed about 3 hours played correctly. Today, after updating, it shows no hours played. REPRO STEPS: 1. Played Marathon on PS5 Pro for around 3 hours before the latest patch. 2. Installed the latest update. 3. Checked the PS5 playtime display for Marathon. 4. Hours played now show as 0 / no time played. ACTUAL RESULT: Previously tracked playtime disappeared. EXPECTED RESULT: Previously recorded playtime should still be displayed correctly. NOTES: Please investigate whether this is a Marathon-side or PS5/PSN playtime tracking issue.

    Hey there,
    Thank you for reaching out

On PlayStation, the hours played counter is tracked and displayed by the PS5 system/PSN, not by Marathon itself. A game patch on our side doesn’t overwrite or manually reset that counter – the console calculates it from its own play history.

    A few things to double‑check:
    Correct profile & version
Make sure you’re signed into the same PSN profile you used yesterday.
On the Marathon tile, press Options → Game Version and confirm you’re looking at the same version (PS5 vs PS4 app) you played before; each version has its own playtime entry.

    Where you’re reading the time
    Compare the time shown under:
Game Library → Marathon → … → Game Information, and
The Profile → Games section (your overall stats list).
Sometimes one view updates before the other.

    Basic PS5 refresh
Fully close Marathon, then restart the PS5 (not just Rest Mode) and check the playtime again.

Because this counter is owned by PS5/PSN, Bungie can’t directly restore or edit it. If the playtime still shows as 0 in all of the above places after a restart and you’re sure it’s the right profile/version, that points to a PlayStation tracking issue rather than something Marathon can change, and PlayStation Support would be the only ones able to adjust or further investigate their stat display.
