If the Instance Closes as you turn in the final step of a DCON contract, the DCON contract still fails
If you have a contract that requires you turn in a DCON item, to a DCON station, and the 25 minute instance timer closes while the DCON teleportation animation plays to whisk away your item and mark the contract as fully completed - your contract will still be marked as failed since the DCON device takes a certain amount of time to 'process' the fact the item has been deposited.
This feels like a bug, since the area would still persist in the game world even though your shell has expired at the 25 minute mark as you've failed to extract. The contract should be marked as successful/complete.
