Crash - lost items
Pretty regular bug it seems, from lots of people. But it reeeally sucks to crash straight to desktop every 3-5 games, reconnect and then already having lost all my items because I couldn't get into the match before everyone died. No errorcode no nothing.

Issue: Crash to desktop every 3-5 games in solo-queue with crew fill. Losing all items on restart.
Time of last crash: 20:39 (ish) 13th of March 2026
How it happens: Most of the time it happens when I depart for a run, mid loading.

Windows 11 Home 25H2 - build 26200.8037
Graphics: Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070 Laptop GPU

We understand you are experiencing persistent crashing in Marathon. We're sorry to hear of this, as we can imagine the impact that this may have had. As per the Steam subsection of this guide, you may wish to reinstall Marathon to see if that helps in alleviating this crashing.
If the crashing persists, however, then please let us know if any error codes present themselves, and we'll review.
