Death after exfil / exfil after final exfil no worky
I'm not sure how to explain this in an incredibly comprehendable way, but lemme try. Either this is an oversight into how exfils work, or the exfil itself killed me.
It's last exfil, my teammates run to one exfil, and I start the exfil that is within the big red zone under the square thingy, idk what its called. As time runs out on the clock, I am within the teleporting animation of my exfil. Everything looks normal.
My hopes and dreams are crushed as I view the "ELIMINATED" status.
I believe the game either does not in the slightest care about the very active exfil, or there is a massive oversight over the VERY active exfil, in which it counts as exfil, and then immediately kills you. :(.

Yeah had a similar incident happen on Dire Marsh. I'll get the video up as soon as I can, but was 2 seconds from exfil downed and knocked out of the circle got back in and exfiled like 3 seconds after the final exfil. Got the animation and all, but still counted as eliminated.
From what I can tell, I think it has to do with the fact that the non-final exfil still has its own separate 10-second countdown. By the time the match timer hits 00:00, you still have to wait for the countdown of the exfil you are in. This happened to me on an exfil near quarantine. I had 6 seconds left in the match, but my local exfil still had to countdown from 10 seconds. I was sad to see I lost everything.
I hope Bungie will fix this so that any other exfil that is active during these final 60 seconds is synced with the countdown of the dedicated final exfil. That way there is at least no confusion. I don't mind having the limit, it just sucks when you don't know why you didn't exfil successfully.
I had a very similar thing happen just now where I was on an active exfil but there was another one near by that was active but I jump in and exfil, full animation and everything but then I’m met with the elimination screen
I had a very similar situation on a rook run and I had a lot good loot, purple shield etc. and when I came back to see my loot it was all gone.
