Game crashing on launch
I just played through about 2-3 successful runs. The last exfil, my game crashes after successfully exfilling. I can not open my game back up at all. After the initial sign in loading screen, it will go black for about 2-3 seconds before crashing completely.
Helpful information:
Steam
Windows 10 / 3080
March 11, 2026 around 4:40-5:15 PM CST
It seems the exfil triggered it? I'm not sure if I got the "Run Complete" screen before it crashed
I have already troubleshooted the following
- Restart PC
- Reinstalled the game & verified game files
- Update graphics driver
- Turn off overlays and restart.
- added run as administrator
Still no luck.

On top of the troubleshooting you've already done, if you haven't already, please ensure all other drivers have been updated, along with Windows and your BIOS. I'm not sure if this is relevant information, but I have seen a few other posts mentioning possible bugs while using Thief. I'd like to add that in this specific run, I was using a Thief shell, and had no issues prior.
