Grapplin device bug with Thief. Not working 1 time out of 3.

Hello,

  • Bungie Account Name - starr#9575
  • Platform - Steam
  • Description of Issue - So basically 1 time out of 3, when I lauch my grapple device with Thief its simply not working. Super annoying of course. 
  • Rough Date and Time of issue - Happened since launch now.
  • Repro steps - I can find a way to reproduce the bug in a constant way. Seems to be just random, but i'm not sure.

    So was gonna make my own post, but saw one already existed.

    I've been having this glitch as well - launch my grapple, but in the same second, it cancels itself and goes onto a cooldown that varies; sometimes 3 seconds, sometimes 10 seconds.
    The amount of (Team)fights I have lost because of this glitch has been infuriating.

    It happens basically every run I do as Thief, but unpredictable as to when it will happen. I've had it occur both out of combat and in combat.

    Hello mate.
    I'm not sure, but I think it occur when you double press the ability it will directly cancel it.

    It happen way less time for me now that I know that.

    It was my initial thought as well that maybe I was double tapping the control, but I've had it occur when paying attention with only single tapping it.

    I did do some extra digging around and considering it doesn't seem like it's common, I am chalking it to either I'm unconsiously double-tapping it or hardware (Since the keyboard I'm using has been going for about 8 years at this point and has had some occasions of different keys messing up).

    But yeah; almost not likely a bug and it's more my brain going BRRRRRR xD

    But anyway I think they fixed it with the yesterday update !
    I'm not able to try it right now but hope it does.
