Destroyer shield cast bug

There's an issue where the shield will fail to cast for no apparent reason. It always happens in inconvenient situations, like in combat or attempts to exfil. The animation looks similar to canceling the shield as soon as you cast it, but instead you have the ability to cast it again immediately. It seems to happen about 3 times in a row before the shield will successfully deploy. Linked below are two instances of it happening within an hour.
