Game won't launch from Steam
Hello, thanks for your time
When launching the game through Steam, the BattlEye Launcher starts properly, and launches the Marathon processus. But it then all shuts down, before the Marathon window opens up.
I tested various solutions you mentioned in other posts, including:
- setting up all Marathon and BattlEye executables as administrator;
- closing or shutting down all background activity and anti-malware software (I only use Windows Defender)
- updating Nvidia drivers and searching for Windows Updates
- reinstalling the game and BattleEye;
-forcing BattleEye to properly open before launching the game;
-starting the game in Safe Boot Mode (the launcher opens but fails with the message "Fail to start BattlEye (4, 5000043c)").

Could any of these background processus cause the crash?
Is there a way to narrow down what causes the crash?

Thank you very much for reaching out to us. I'm sorry to hear that you are having trouble launching the game. Reviewing your PC Specifications, while your GPU does meet the specifications, it appears that your CPU is under the minimum requirements listed.
