PLUM: Crash while Moonlight Streaming
- Bungie Account Name - StormyPenguin#5041
- Platform - Steam
- Description of Issue - General local play works normally, but error code Plum with Battleye error stating "query timeout" frequently occurs while playing via local streaming client (Apollo - fork of Sunshine stream host, Moonlight for iPadOS with current update). Crashing persists while capturing whole display OR local application.
- Rough Date and Time of issue - roughly 11pm PST 03/08/2026
- Repro steps - Attempt to play game via Moonlight video capture. If local streaming is against TOS and Battleye flag is intentional, please update TOS to reflect this.

Adding to this:
I've followed steps listed in guides for MARMOT and PLUM errors to attempt to resolve this issue. Uninstalled Marathon completely and reinstalled fresh ~1 day before first attempting local streaming and encountering this issue, but haven't done a reinstall since then. No other observed issues with the SSD containing the game files and no signs of corruption when running TRIM operations or defrag/checkdisk via native OS tools.
Additional followup
Uninstalled, cleaned install directory, reinstalled fresh and I'm still getting PLUM errors every 15 minutes with nothing but Discord, Razer, and Nvidia central running. The errors are now happening while playing locally (ie. not over local stream) also. Is there something that I'm missing?
