Microphone not working
I cannot get my microphone to work. I have the correct Voice Chat Input Device selected and I followed the Audio & Voice Troubleshooting support page. Proximity Chat is enabled and I made sure my microphone is not muted Lobby/Social tab. My microphone works totally fine in every other game, Discord, etc.
When I press my push-to-talk key, the icon next to my name changes to an orange speaker, but does not show that it is detecting any noise and no one can hear me.
My microphone is an Earthworks Ethos that is plugged into an Audient Evo 4.
My Bungie Account name is james#1311, playing on PC/Steam, and this has been happening since the server slam (didn't play previous tests).

Hello there,
Thank you for your report
We have ongoing reports of voice chat not working correctly with some PC audio interfaces (XLR mics via USB interfaces), even when they work fine in Discord and other games. We are currently investigating this issue.
Hopefully the patch will come soon, because it’s ruining the gameplay for solo crewfill lobby’s. Hard to outplay real teams when Communication is not possible.
Hi,
I'm using a Roland Rubix22 USB audio interface with an XLR microphone. Everything works perfectly on Windows — Discord, games, other apps — but in Marathon, the voice chat doesn't work, even though my interface does appear in the audio device selector.
USB audio interfaces can be tricky (sample rate mismatches, buffer settings, etc.), so it would be really helpful to have a microphone test option directly in the settings menu to help diagnose these kinds of issues.
Thanks for looking into this!
