Disgusting leveling in terms of weapons and modules for them BUNGIE PLEASE FIX THE SYSTEM OF GUNS AND TRADERS

I have a question: why can't I buy or trade a pistol silencer? It's one of the basic guns, and attachments for them are available in the game, but I can only get them through a quest or by finding them in a raid. Why should I waste a slot on a cheap weapon's attachment just to go on a cheap raid later if I can just fill that slot with an expensive item? Why is the weapon acquisition logic so flawed? Why should I spend the results of an entire raid on just one gun from my arsenal, looting 15,000 credits at an outpost and putting it in my inventory? Dear developers, please fix the logic for acquiring guns in the game. They're consumables just like shields, first aid kits, modules, and cores. You'll most likely lose them too. It's stupid to farm 15,000 for one gun or to specifically look for one.
