GAME CRASHES, AUDIO CRASHES, and CONSTANT HITCHING
The game is currently unplayable for me on Steam. There's persistent hitching once every second until the game inevitably crashes within 3 minutes during the tutorial. Audio glitches out and crashes as well. No other games except for Bungie titles have ever caused this kind of issue. (I also have hitching issues with Destiny 2, but no crashes).
I've tried everything.
All in-game overlays are disabled, including game bar. NVIDIA game ready drivers are up to date. Reinstalled the game. Steam game files integrity validated. Newest Visual C++ packages are installed. Tried running Steam and game as admin, and just game as admin. Offline on Steam friends list. Reinstalled BattlEye. No interference with anti-virus software. Unplugged my Focusrite audio interface. Wallpaper engine is off. No other programs running. Nothing is being overclocked.
Nothing is working!
Also, I have 2-3 performance metrics icons pop up in red or gray in the top right corner of my HUD at all times. There's no information on what these icons are indicating, and knowing so would be a huge help in diagnosing these issues if they are related. Thanks.

Description of Issue: The game is currently unplayable for me on Steam. There's persistent hitching once every second until the game inevitably crashes within 3 minutes of launching. Audio glitches out and crashes as well. No other games except for Bungie titles have ever caused this kind of issue. (I also have hitching issues with Destiny 2, but no crashes). My PC runs every other game perfectly fine.
Rough Date and Time of issue: Issues began on my first attempt to launch the game around 2 pm EST on March 5. These issues have occurred each time I've tried to launch the game since.
Repro steps: The issues occurred the very first time I launched the game, so there was nothing I did differently to cause them. However, I can list the steps I've taken to troubleshoot the issues so far as a way to both let you deduce the conditions at the onset of the issues and also to avoid being advised to attempt a fix I've already tried. As the issues still occur even after these steps were taken, the following steps also count as the conditions in which the issues occur.
-Troubleshooting steps I've already taken: All in-game overlays are disabled, including game bar. NVIDIA game ready drivers are up to date. Reinstalled the game. Steam game files integrity validated. Newest Visual C++ packages are installed. Tried running both Steam and game as admin, and just game as admin. Tried running game in compatibility mode. Tried disabling fullscreen optimizations. Offline on Steam friends list. Reinstalled BattlEye. No interference with anti-virus software. Unplugged my Focusrite audio interface. Wallpaper engine is off. No other programs running. The clip does not show the full game crashing, but I want to stress that every attempt to play this game has indeed ended with the game crashing within 3 minutes of starting it.
Please also note what seem to be red and gray performance metrics icons on the top right corner of the clip. I don't know what these icons are indicating, but it seems like they may be related to the issues.
