Proximity Chat Issues

Proximity chat is not working, there may be a possible codec issue on the backend. I have checked the proximity chat solutions page and I have run through my own settings and triple checked and confirmed that all my settings/communication devices are correct and my audio drivers are also up to date. I have a rodecaster duo dac along with a schiit magni amp and I can't hear anyone talk in proximity or party chat in game. My friend can however hear me in party and proximity chat in game.
