RX 5XX driver 26.1.1 black textures
Please fix before release or my friend will refund. He already missed out on server slam.

Yes, I wanted a clear answer on how they are handling this issue. My drivers were up to date during the server slam and yet the problem persisted.
I couldn't even play and I don't know if they're addressing this problem
I hope they do too. My partner had this issue. We both were on 26.1.1, but I have a 6950XT and she had my old Vega 56. So I'm wondering if this is a hardware feature that is supported by RDNA but not Vega or Polaris. Which would be disappointing considering Vega launched after the 10 series and is more powerful than a 1050ti, the minimum GPU to play.
Hello there,
Thanks for the report. I'm sorry to hear that your friend is having issues with textures on their PC. We'd received reports of this issue and kindly ask that they ensure the latest GPU driver version has been installed before playing. If they've updated to the latest version of their GPU drivers and the issue persists when the game launched, please be sure to have them reach out to us.
I have physical access to their PC (I'm the IT of the house). Their PC had 26.1.1 installed, ddu'ed and clean installed 26.1.1, issue persists. My PC has an AMD RX 6950 XT also on 26.1.1, no issues. From all the reports I saw here and on reddit attempting to diagnose my issue, its likely a hardware feature, "legacy" RDNA gpus (5000,6000,7000) don't have this texture problem but Vega and Polaris cards do. Is this potentially something that would be fixed at launch?
On a side note, I had an intel ARC a380 w/rebar in my server that I swapped in so they could play, and even though its technically below the "minimum" spec of an ARC a580, it had no issues and held consistent ~70 fps 1080p medium.
RX580 (Sapphire Nitro+ Special Edition) here with driver version 26.1.1 these texture/shader issues appear.
I literally have to install driver version 22.11.2 from 8th December 2022 to play Marathon without these issues.
Hello again,
Thanks for the additional reports. We've received reports of continued issues with textures and shaders on some configurations. While updating drivers has helped with the issue for some people, we are continuing to investigate the underlying issue.
