Publicly address the False Bans Situation...
The Marathon team has been quite active on socials addressing the Server Slam contrary to what the Ban Appeal email states in regards to working hours/holiday... meanwhile some not so insignificant chunk of players (dozens to hundreds? idk, doesn't seem to be too many tho given the chatter quantity) have been hit with a false ban.
It is unacceptable that people/customers who have been banned with no stated reason/falsely, with many like myself who have preordered the game, are left in the dark without a mention. I obviously know I have never cheated and believe all cheaters should rot in jail/prison but anyone can say that. All I can provide is proof that in no game I have an account in, BattleEye or EasyAntiCheat (Arma, CSGO, Tarkov, Arc, Finals, Battlefields, PUBG, COD, Apex, etc...), with an accumulated tens of thousands of hours over my lifetime have I EVER been banned for what I can only assume to be a false positive "cheat detection". I don't even turn up the brightness/gamma in Arc Night/Dark areas like some players/streamers cuz I think its unethical/cheesy, I rather just not play at that point. My software stack also has been the same for years now so this is absolutely baffling/annoying. I also stream all my gameplay... well except this one because I am on bit of a hiatus and was planning to just try it out shortly but got hooked does 2 days and preordered before being banned, my first bungie game, don't f it up . . . (there are some current flaws on execution & concerns on longevity/follow through on the concept but that is high level discourse saved for another day, but the vibes of Marathon are impeccable rn)
Once yall figure out what on earth triggered it and solved it the right thing to do would be to apologies to the innocent people you have ruined the weekend of (pretty sure I was more than half way to lvl 30) and caused a bunch of headache/time waste. A user's time should be respected especially if they have been wronged, coming from a fellow dev. That being said, happy to help out to any any dev that wishes to reach out & isolate the issue.
