Can't change resolution

3440x1440 monitor. In settings for resolution there are no options in the drop down menu(only a cancel button). If I change to windowed mode, I can see the different resolutions in the drop down menu, but the highest I see is 3440x1417? Tried restarting, reinstalling and updating drivers. Any ideas?
