UI/UX Suggestions (Clunky Menus)
Navigation & Menu Flow
- Too many Escape presses required to navigate between menu sections
- No dedicated hotkeys for major areas (Factions, Armory); should work globally, not just from root menu
- +1 to above, Tab should open the Vault from anywhere in the menus
- Active contract on main menu should navigate directly to its contract, not require extra steps
- Clicking a contract at end-of-run should go straight to the associated faction page
Vault & Inventory Handling
- Mod swapping in vault should match in-game behavior (no hold-to-confirm / no holding F)
- Purchasing from the Armory should default to vault; only route to backpack if a stack already exists there
- Replacing an item in the vault should return the displaced item to the vault, not the backpack
- Dropping items by dragging needs a temporary drop zone hitbox visible from inventory view to make it less finicky
Item Interaction & Click Behavior
- Click vs. Ctrl+click distinction for auto-equip vs. add-to-backpack needs clearer feedback or reworked logic
- Mod attachment hit area should cover the entire item box, not just precise cursor zones
- Equipment swap hit areas should be larger; overlapping an item onto a slot should register as valid input
