Temporary Region Access Issue
I’m reaching out about an issue accessing Marathon Server Slam. I’m currently studying in Russia temporarily, and when I attempt to log in, I receive a “servers unavailable” error in game.
My Steam account was NOT created in Russia, bungie region is different too and I do not have any bans or account restrictions. So I guess the issue may be related to my current physical location rather than my account status.
I was hoping to participate in the server slam to experience the game and decide whether to purchase it once I return home later this year. I completely understand if regional restrictions are in place, but just wanted to ask if there is any way for legitimate players in my situation (temporarily abroad) to access the event?
