Marathon disabling my computers audio when the audio channel is my momentum 4 bluetooth headset
I previously made a post about the game disabling all my pcs audio no matter the channel, but now I have discovered that it is exclusively happening with my Sennheiser Momentum 4 headphones. I have no idea why this would be happening, and it's very frustrating that I can only play the game with my speakers if I want to be able to actually hear anything.

This is also happening to me, but with different headphones.
I use Bose QC Ultra headphones, and Marathon alone disables all audio whenever they are connected and the game is running. As soon as the game stops, all audio returns.
I have followed all suggestions from Bungie in prior posts regarding audio issues, but the issue persists. The cache has been cleared, overlays disabled, etc, but nothing makes any difference at all. Playing this game with external speakers alone means, frankly, that I won't be playing Marathon.
I figured out a solution which works for me, at least!
Go into device manager, then under the category called "Sound, video and game controllers" find the audio device called something with "Hands Free". For me, I have a Momentum 4, and it was titled MOMENTUM 4 Hands-Free AG Audio.
Then right click on it and disable it. It will give you a warning, but continue. Immediately the audio returned for me, but I restarted per my pc's advice just in case.
That fixed it for me!
Lion Zeekar,
I hope your advice works for others who run into this in the future!
Unfortunately for my case, I've run into that particular issue in past games and have already unsuccessfully attempted that as a fix.
