Incorrect symbols displayed on UI

I boot up the game on steam using my PS5 controller yet I'm presented with Xbox button commands. Please create a toggle in the setting to let the user pick. countless indy games have figured this out. PLEASE FIX this. I can't tell you how many games I've stopped playing just because I don't want to figure out what "X" button really is.
