Cursor Not Responsive Only When Discord is Running

Platform:  Steam (Windows 11)

Description of Issue:  Upon booting up of the game, I am greeted with a typical UI, nothing seems out of the ordinary with the exception of the cursor being extremely laggy.  Upon investigation, however, simply closing discord fixes it.  There is no restart needed to fix it, either.  It could be before marathon boots or during.  Afterwards, I am able to boot discord up and everything runs normally.

Date and time:  2/26/2026 5:50 PM EST

Repro steps:

  1.  Launch discord

  2.  Launch Marathon

  3.  Cursor issue begins when user is able to use it

  4.  Fully close discord, things return to normal

    We understand that your cursor is lagging in Marathon when you have Discord open. We're sorry to hear of this, as we can imagine the possible impact of such an issue. For our investigation, could you kindly share the following with us:

    • Your Bungie Account name.
    • The GPU installed on your PC.
    • A short video of the lag. If you record a video, you can upload it to a site like Youtube, and share a link to it here.

    Once we have these additional details, we'll investigate this further.
