Gear Not Kept After Network Error

IDK what else to add lol
Code Weasel occurred. After being booted to the menu, I went back in and was auto-eliminated from my team. I could not rejoin, and my gear was lost.
I thought you could retain gear through network errors, and weasel would in fact be a network error. Hopefully a bug.

Please note that if connection recovery fails due to an issue with Bungie’s server or network infrastructure, that we will attempt to return starting gear. For our investigation, could you kindly clarify if you lost even your starting gear from this?

I lost even my starting gear. Everything.
Same here, I was on a sponsored free kit and downed a rich guy and got giga loot but then I got weaseled and lost everything. I don't think I got my stuff back since I started on a free kit.
