Mouse not working correctly

Hi, how are you?

The mouse (icon) is not working correctly. What I noticed about this situation:

I use two monitors. For testing purposes, I left only one on, where the game screen is displayed. After that, I switched to windowed mode (ALT + Enter) and then switched back. After this process, the mouse started working correctly with the other monitor on.

However, if I switch windows and minimize the game, sometimes the mouse stops working again.

Setup: Steam, Windows 11 PRO 24H2

    Sorry to hear that you're experiencing issues with your mouse input. We are aware of some third-party utilities that can introduce this problem. Try closing any screen sharing, screen capture, or screen measurement utilities.

     You can also try the following workaround to see if that helps resolve the issue:

    • If you are streaming while playing, could you try streaming the whole screen and not the Marathon game window specifically.
    • If you are not streaming the game while playing, or if the above doesn't work, try disabling the Steam Overlay by clicking Settings → In Game and then toggling off "Enable the Steam Overlay while in-game".

    Hello, Unfortunately the problem still persists. Only momentarily turning off one monitor made the mouse work normally.

    Having a similar issue here. The mouse input just seems to stop working altogether, somewhat randomly. Disabled Steam and Discord overlays, no change in behavior. Seems to always happen after an alt-tab to another application, but now I've started up the game client several times with no change - the mouse cursor just never shows up and there's no mouse input in the game client even though the keyboard works fine.

    Of course, alt-tabbing over to the browser to type that out caused it to fail again. :)

    I have the same problem, using OBS i can't use the mouse ( i have to close OBS) To fix this put the game in Window Mode: Windowed.

    I have this same issue, if I have multiple monitors and the game was alt tabbed the mouse will freeze and the inputs will be slow. The game game works but the UI thread is like locked up and sometimes will cause my game to input the same inputs multiple times. Sometimes it will fix itself like if im playing the game but in the main menu UI it seems to never fix itself unless i disconnect my other monitors. I've got 2 1080p and 1 2k monitor. I notice for other games this happens if im in exclusive fullscreen but those games usually have borderless fullscreen which doesnt have the issue.
