Game crashes on the first loading screen
The game just crashes after a few seconds into the first loading screen, i can't even get into the menu...

Happening to me as well, platform is steam .. tried uninstalling, verifying, deleting the folder completely.. deleting and reinstalling Microsoft Visuals c++, steam in admin, restarted PC, internet restart... still no justice.
I am having the same issue. I am using an XBOX ROG Ally X (handheld PC) and steam. Tried all of the above as well as reducing the resolution before launching, still no luck. Sometimes I can get to the initial system setup screen, but the cursor won't work and it crashes a few seconds after that. Was looking forward to trying this game out today :(
I pre-ordered the delux version a few weeks back. If I'm unable to login for the duration of the server slam, might as well cancel the pre-order...

Welp seems like I’m not the only one having this issue. Can’t get past the sign in screen on my RoG ally
I had exactly the same problem. I spent about 7 hours trying to fix it. I got past it by lowering the screen refresh rate to 60Hz and turning down the resolution. Then I set everything back to normal, and it hasn’t frozen since. It’s confusing.
